Welcome to

Special Needs & Early Ed w/ Ms. P!

I’m Ms. P, an educator with a passion for early childhood development and special education. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all abilities, and it’s been my mission to support families and teachers in creating nurturing, inclusive environments where every child can thrive.

With this blog, I hope to share my knowledge, experiences, and resources to empower parents, educators, and caregivers as they navigate the unique joys and challenges of supporting young children with special needs.

My Journey

I’ve spent 14 years working in early childhood education and special education, and during that time, I’ve learned that no two children are alike. Each child brings their own strengths, needs, and perspectives to the classroom and the home. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with children with various developmental, behavioral, and learning differences, helping them—and their families—find strategies to grow and succeed.

This journey has also helped me understand the crucial role of early intervention and inclusive education in shaping a child's future. I’m passionate about advocating for children who might need a little extra support and sharing practical, research-backed approaches to help them thrive.

Why I Started This Blog

I started this blog to bridge the gap between families and educators, and to provide a space where we can have open, honest conversations about special needs and early childhood development. Over the years, I’ve seen the incredible progress children can make with the right support and understanding, and I want to share what I’ve learned along the way.

By creating a space where we can share resources, experiences, and encouragement, I hope to contribute to building a more inclusive, informed community for all children, regardless of their needs or abilities.
